Freightliner Team Run Smart Recognizes 20,000th Community Member
DALLAS – Aug. 21, 2014 – Freightliner Trucks today announced that it has reached 20,000 members in its Team Run Smart (www.TeamRunSmart.com) online community.
Robyn Taylor is the 20,000th member of the community. Based out of Enfield, Conn., Taylor travels with her husband, Bill, who is a team driver with Landstar Ranger. The Taylors have been professional truck drivers for more than 15 years, and have recently set up an LLC to support their owner-operator business.
“Team Run Smart and its contributors provide helpful insights into growing a successful business,” said Taylor. “I appreciate the real-life experiences shared by other professional drivers, and often turn to forums such as TruckSmart and BusinessSmart for advice.”
TruckSmart and BusinessSmart are just two of the forums on Team Run Smart that examine everything from reducing downtime and running a business to maximizing profits and staying healthy on the road. Accessible through a dedicated website, mobile site, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, Team Run Smart features articles, blogs and contributions from industry experts and Team Run Smart Pro drivers.
“When we launched Team Run Smart two years ago, our goal was to create an interactive community to foster engagement and sharing of best industry practices,” said Mary Aufdemberg, director of product marketing for Freightliner Trucks. “We’re pleased that Team Run Smart has evolved into a go-to industry resource for drivers and managers who want to advance in the business of trucking.”
Team Run Smart Pros will be present in the Freightliner Trucks booth (#12113) at the Great American Trucking Show (GATS) in Dallas to answer questions and assist with membership enrollments.
